Source Consulting Group, formerly a division of Thomson Reuters’ Hildebrandt Baker Robbins group, officially launched as an independent company this week. The new company focuses on financial software operations for law firms, accounting firms, and other consultancies, unlike recently formed HBR Consulting, which emphasizes operations and technology aspects.

CHICAGO – August 29, 2011 – From the recent Thomson Reuters divestiture of Hildebrandt Baker Robbins comes the formation of independent consultancy Source Consulting Group LLC (“Source”). Formerly the Hildebrandt Baker Robbins Financial Systems and Operational Group, the new company will continue to build its financial practice and provide product-neutral consulting services to legal, accounting and consulting providers.
